RINGO GETTING READY FOR BED
/Images/ViewImage.aspx?maxHeight=150&Id=4748
I GOT RINGO FROM THE DOG POUND WHEN IT WAS ON HOSPITAL RD.THIS IS A NORMAL DAY IN THE EYES OF RINGO.I WAKE UP AND GET A DRINK OF WATER, JUST ENOUGH TO WET MY TONGUE AND THE REST TO GET EVERYONE ELSE OUT OF THE BED.I THEN JUMP BACK IN BED AND DRIPP WATER ON EVERYONE'S FACE,WHEN THEY'RE EYES JUST START TO OPEN I START TO NIBBLE ON THEIR ANKLES TIL THEY GET OUT OF THE BED.ONCE OUT OF THE BED WE THEN GO TO THE RESTROOM,ONE IN THE HOUSE AND EVERYONE ELSE OUTSIDE.NOW ONCE I HAVE USED THE RESTROMM I GO AND PLAY WITH MY FRIENDS IN THE YARD WHILE ANGIE GETS IN THE SHOWER.LATER SHE COME OUT AND BRING US IN THE HOUSE FOR BREAKFAST.THEN WE GET OUR TEETH BRUSHED AND GROOMED.AFTER ALL OF THIS WE GO FOR OUR WALK ABOUT 1 OR 2 MILE THEN WE GO BACK HOME. I LOVE TO GO FOR A WALK CAUSE I GET TO CHASE AROUD ALL THE BIRDS AND SQUIRRALS AND STUFF. WHEN WE GET BACK FROM OUR WALK WE COOL DOWN IN FRONT OF THE A/C AND WAIT TIL SHE IS READY GO START THE DAY.EVERY SATURADY WE GO SHOPPING AND GET NEW TOYS,TREATS AND GRAVY. I HATE IT WHEN WE GO SHOPPPING FOR THE WINTER CAUSE SHE ALWAYS GET US CAOTS AND SHOE TO HELP TO KEEP IT WARM. SO WHAT I DO IS HOPE IT SNOWS AND LOOSE MY SHOES IN THE SNOW.WHEN WE ARE FINISH SHOPPING SHE TAKES US TO PICK UP OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND OFFTO THE PARK WE GO.I LOVE TO GO TO THE PARK AND RUN OFF LEASH AS LONG AS WE COME BACK.SOMETIMES SHE PLAYS WITH US AND I GET TO CHEW ON HER SHOE AND STUFF ANGIE IS SO NICE THE SHE BRING ENOUGH WATER AND TOYS FOR EVERONE AND NOT JUST US SO THERE'S LETFIGHTING.SO WHEN WE GET TIRED OF PLAYING WE ALL LAY DOWN IN THE SHADES AND REST. AFTER A WHILE ANGIE COME OVER AND PICKS US UP AND PUT US IN THE CAR. SHE DROPS OFF THE FRIENDS AND FAMILYAND WE GO HOME ANGIE IS MY MOTHER AND I'M NOT THE ONLY PUPPY SHE GOT ITS 3 OF US AND ONE CAT.THE REST OF THE DAY IS EATTING ,SLEEPING AND CHEWING EACH OTHER.I LOVE HER AND MY FAMILY AND I'M GLAD THAT SHE CAME AND GOT ME FROM THE DOG POUND.RINGO IS A JACK RUSSELL TERRPOO AND MR.BOB ARE MIXED BREED

Gus
/Images/ViewImage.aspx?maxHeight=150&Id=38706
Gus passed away today. He was diagnosed with primary lung cancer on January 4, 2008. At that time, they told us he had just a couple of weeks left, and then we would know that it was time to bring him in.
Ocie and I decided this morning that Gus had done everything he needed to do on this earth, and that it was time to move on. Ocie brought Gus in to Dr. Bell this morning, and Gus’s sendoff was very peaceful and dignified. Everyone at MRAH was so kind and supportive.
We had said everything we needed to say to Gus during the last few weeks – and the last 12 years - so we had no regrets - only that our time together was over.
Please remember Gus in your prayers. He is breathing easy now and enjoying the afterlife that he so richly deserves. We will never forget this magnificent animal - his gentleness, the joy he brought into our lives, and the lessons he taught us.
Everyone said that Gus was the luckiest dog in the world to have us for his mom and dad, but we were the lucky ones.
We love you Gus, and we always will. Thank you for picking us. Mom and Dad
brrff!

Paws; she was the Princess of the house and exhibited the same grace in death that she possessed in life. She was the kind of pet that took time to get to know. She was finicky when she first met you, not wanting to pass judgment until she got to know you. To her, trust and love, had to be earned and was not simply given away. Her love, once awarded, had a staying power. She was a playful cat; whether it was a twist-tie, a moving hand beneath the bedsheets, a fish or spider on the end of a string, or your open garment bag on the night before a business trip, she was always up for fun. She was mischievous; knocking objects off the dresser and crunching paper bags while you slept, or hanging out in your closet getting black hair on white shirts. There are many small nuances about her behavior that help defined her character. Those, such as the thumping of her paws on a closed door, drinking from your water glass or her voracious appetite for milk in your cereal bowl, we’ll never forget. As we relax this evening and think of you, we’ll reserve that open lap for you and your everlasting love, warmth and peace. We will miss you so much. With love, Cheryl, Matt, Sumi and Murphy

Ginger

Adopted from Nashville Humane Association at 6 months, this little girl gave us 14 years of unconditional love.
She was the light of our lives.
She loved her yard, where she could chase those squirrels that invaded her space.
And she loved every one she ever met (human and animal alike).
She was just the best little girl in the world!
We lost our friend on March 1, 2008. She hid her cancer from us until it was time to say goodbye.
Two days before the cancer took over, she was running around acting like a little puppy, as always, despite her 14 years.
Many thanks to Dr. Vanderpool and the Murphy Road team for helping us make the right decision to give her rest.
Ginger dog, we will always love you!

I had no intentions of adopting a dog the day I wandered into Love at First Sight. But I learned that day, November 11, 1996, that we don't select them; they select us. My life was blessed as a result.
Abbey, you touched a lot of hearts—especially mine. I love you and will miss you until we are reunited for eternity.

Queen

"Mama's Queen" is what I called her. She was the sweetest dog...more so like a child... I have ever had. Her favorite thing was ice cream. She learned the word and then how to spell it. I miss her soooo much. Queen was the type of dog that would bark to announce someone coming and then force them to love on her once they were in the house. I know she is one doggie that went to Heaven.

UNDERSTANDING THE FLEA
For millions of pets and people, the tiny flea is a remorseless enemy. The flea is a small, brown, wingless insect that uses specialized mouthparts to pierce the skin and siphon blood.
When a flea bites your dog, it injects a small amount of saliva into the skin to prevent blood coagulation. Click Here To Read More
